Restaurant: The Pizza Bakery – Indiranagar, Bengaluru, IN.
TPB is located amidst greenery and a bunch of popular food brands, thus making the location a positive one. With a two floor arrangement, the restaurant has a good cafe set up which is perfect for evenings, esp on the terrace owing to open greenery and ambient lighting. The service staff are very courteous and well trained on food knowledge.
Order for the evening consisted of Uncle Dunkel and Abbey Dark beers, European Hot Chocolate, Chunky Jalapeno & Cheese poppers, Popo’s Veggie Delight (topped with Rum Flambe) Pizza and Traditional Tiramisu dessert to end the meal.
Cheese poppers were above average when compared to other places serving them, highlight was the Bravas and Aioli dips served along. Pizza was well baked and had good amount of toppings, the crust too was good to taste with mild sourness. Rum Flambe on half pizza portion enhanced the tasty experience. Tiramisu, as named, stuck to basics to provide a delightful ending. On the other side, Hot Chocolate was a sinful drink to not stop at 1st sip! Quite thick on the consistency and very chocolatey. The beers did good justice (Geist Dunkel and Saint Martin Abbey).
Only con: For photo and social media enthusiasts, evening lighting is a bit dark to capture the shots well 😛
PS: Thanks to my screwed up phone, I’m running on a spare (which is as ancient as technology 😀 )
